Privacy Policy

Account details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. If you continue with just a name, that profile is stored on your device.

Your content. The designs, images and videos you create. These are saved on your device and, when you are signed in, backed up to your private cloud space so you can access them on other devices.

Basic technical data. Standard information such as your browser type and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

To run the editor, save and sync your work, sign you in, and keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private designs to train models.

Your cloud files are stored in object storage provided by Cloudflare. When you use a feature powered by a third party (for example AI image generation or stock photos), the input you provide for that feature is sent to the relevant provider to return a result.

We use a single secure, httpOnly cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can delete a design at any time, which removes it from your device and your cloud space. To access or delete your account data, or ask a privacy question, email us at [email protected].

Merdot Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
